/Hello there, today’s English expression is often found in everyday English as well as in business, so you can use it in any setting.
The final straw is actually short for the final straw that broke the camel’s back, and it means when something has reached its limit and cannot be continued/ tolerated anymore.
For example….
There were many reasons for Brian being fired. He was often late, quite rude to our customers, and always arguing with the other staff. When we found out he had been stealing money too it was the final straw!
