/Hello everyone,
What do you think “how come” means? Well, it’s an idiom and it’s used to ask how or why something has happened.
For example,
Ex1. How come you came to Fukuoka?
Ex2. How come you became an English teacher?
Ex3. How come your English is so good?
It’s a very useful expression and in the examples above it sounds much softer than “Why?”. For more information on how come “why” isn’t a good choice in the three examples above, please ask your Kensington teachers.

これは慣用語で何かが起こった時に理由を尋ねるときに使用します。
例えば
(例) 福岡に来た理由は？
(例) なぜ英語教師になったの？
(例) なぜあなたの英語はとても上手なの？
これは非常に役に立つ表現で、“Why?”よりも非常に柔らかく聞こえます。
